Summary:
What you will do Overall responsibility for the design, construction, scope, schedule, and budget for entire industrial programs by managing a team of construction and design professionals, both internal and external, and leading teams to achieve company goals.
Partners with customer leadership teams to ensure alignment with program goals/strategy through alignment of resources, vendors and planning.
Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.
Develops and sets strategies for successful management, execution and tracking of projects by providing feedback and recommendations to officer-level committees/cross-functional leadership regarding budgets, schedules and approach of complex projects; collaborating with cross-functional teams ; overseeing documentation of and reviewing capital expenditure decisions; managing and resolving contract negotiations; developing and implementing processes for approval of projects with internal business partners ; and analyzing documents to ensure projects are within parameters.
Oversees the design and construction efforts for complex projects by guiding teams to create and evaluate project schedules and budgets; coordinate efforts between internal and external business units; resolving conflicts; overseeing document completion; ensuring compliance with municipalities in the delivery of high-quality projects; and ensuring the quality and functionality of the project's construction following turnover to operations through the warranty period.
Oversees budget alignment by advising and reviewing pre-construction budgets; communicating design and construction capital expenditures to senior leadership; reviewing and tracking monthly and quarterly budget reports; working with contractors and estimating resources to manage potential changes and resolve claims; enable teams and managing project scope and contingency.
Oversees and enforces compliance with laws and regulations for construction projects by establishing, communicating, and monitoring standards of performance for contractors and suspending noncompliant work; collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide feedback and identify and implement design changes to comply with compliance obligations; resolving noncompliance ; maintaining certifications ; enforcing standards with regulations and company programs ; and providing guidance to team members in the application of new or changing initiatives.
Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.
Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas.
You'll sweep us off our feet if Demonstrate extensive experience in industrial and/or manufacturing development, design & construction, particularly with MHE, ASRS and other similar components.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related retail industrial development design fields and 5 years' experience in Commercial Real Estate or Warehouse site development, building design, and construction management OR 10 years' experience in site development, building design, and construction management.
5 years' experience in program and project management.
5 years' experience in leading a large organization of design and construction professionals.
Additional Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to lead large cross functional teams, both direct and indirect reports and peers, 5 years' experience in industrial development either new construction or existing TI (tenant improvement) from either the site/building design, project management, or construction management perspective along with material handling equipment systems.
Have managed and lead remodels of industrial facilities and retail properties.

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and 6 years' experience in architecture, construction management, engineering, or related area OR 8 years' experience in architecture, construction management, engineering, or related area.
2 years' supervisory experience.
